The maker movement involves creation within the classroom. It can be used in all subjects, even French. In this example of a Maker Movement project, students will be 3D printing objects that they will then sell to their classmates in an auction.

The use of 3D printers act as a way for students to create something meaningful for them to sell. The idea of participating in an auction, something many people participate it at one point (though it is usually silent or digital nowadays), gives the students a real life use of the French language to follow the actional approach to teaching the curriculum. The target CECR level for this project is B1.
